PLAYING RECORDS
This system includes a full-size, 3-speed, belt-drive turntable that plays 33,45 and 78 RPM records.
1. With the unit on, rotate the AM/FM/PH/CD switch to the PH position. Make sure that you have removed the stylus
cover from the stylus and have released the Tone Arm Lock (See Page 7)
2. Set the turntable speed switch to the appropriate speed: 33, 45, or 78 RPM. Set the record onto the turntable. If
you are playing 45 RPM singles, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
3. Raise the cue lever to lift the tone arm o its rest. Move the tone arm to the edge of the record. The turntable will
start automatically. Use the cue lever to gently lower the tone arm onto the record.
Notes:
Adjust the OFF/VOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have removed the stylus cover from the stylus and have released the Tone Arm
Lock (see page 7).
Do not turn or stop the turntable manually. Moving or jarring the turntable without securing the tone arm clamp
could result in damage to the tone arm or stylus.
RECORDING FROM A CD ONTO THE USB DEVICE
1. With the unit on and a USB drive inserted, rotate the AMFM- PH-CD/USB switch to the CD/USB position and insert
the desired CD; playback will start automatically.
2. Select a track using the SKIP REV or FWD button. Press the RECORD 3 button once; “rEC” will appear in the display.
3. Press the RECORD button a second time; “rAd” (Ready) will briey appear in the display and then the player will
restart the selected track and start recording. It will continue recording until the Stop button is pressed.
NOTES:
The Record indicator will blink when recording.
Press the STOP button once to cancel the record function and twice to stop the playback.
PROGRAM RECORDING FROM A CD ONTO THE USB DEVICE
1. Perform steps 1 through 3 on page 10 to program the memory. Press the PLAY/ PAUSE button to start program
playback.
2. Select a track using the SKIP REV or FWD button, if desired. Press the RECORD button once; “rEC” will appear in
the display.
3. Press the RECORD button a second time; “rAd” (Ready) will briey appear in the display and then the player will
restart the selected track and start recording. It will continue recording until the Stop button is pressed.
NOTES:

RECORDING FROM A PHONOGRAPH ONTO THE USB DEVICE
1. With the unit on and a USB drive inserted, rotate the AMFM-PH-CD/USB switch to the PH position.
2. Press the RECORD button once; “rEC” will appear in the display. Press the RECORD button a second time; rAd”
(Ready) will briey appear in the display.
3. Place a record on the turntable and start playback. The recording from the PHONO will begin after rAd’ disappears
from the display.
