BEFORE FIRST USE
• Readtheinstructionscarefully
• Removeallpackagingmaterialandlabels.
• Washinwarm,soapywaterwithasoftsponge.Rinse
thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth.
• Beforeheatingyournewcookwareforthersttime,applya
little vegetable oil (preferably peanut oil) to the inside of the
pan with a paper towel. You might consider doing this each
time you put away the cookware, to extend the life.
DAILY USE
• Suitableonallhobs(gas,ceramic,halogenandinduction).
• Alwaysstartwithacleanpan.
• Takethefoodfromtherefrigeratoratleast10minutesbefore
cooking.
• Ifyouuseoilfortasteortexture,allowtheoiltowarmfora
minute or two over low to medium heat before adding food to
the pan.
• Yourcookwarehasfastandevenheattransfersofoodandoil
charveryquickly.Alwayscookusinglowtomediumheat.Only
use high heat when the pot is lled with a liquid for boiling
your food (like for instance pasta).
• Neverallowapantoboildry.Neverletyouremptypanheatup
too long.
• Useprotectivematerialtoprotectthesurfacewhenyouplace
hot cookware on a table or countertop.
• Cookwarecanbeusedintheovenwithoutdamage(upto
250°C).Ofcourseinthiscasethehandleswillbecomehot.Use
potholders to prevent burns.
INSTRUCTION FOR INDUCTION HOB
• Atahighsettingandduringashortperiodoftime,usuallyjust
before boiling, there may be a buzzing sound. This arises from
the high tech material that is heating up and doesn't indicate a
fault in your induction hob nor your cookware and is complete
harmless.
• Thediameterofthebaseofthepanandthesizeofinduction
zone must be approximately similar in order to optimise the
reaction with the pan. Where the diameter is too small, the hob
(magnetic eld) may not react to the base of the pan
CARE AND CLEANING
• Letcooldownyourpanbeforecleaning.
• Thiscookwareisdishwashersafe,buthandwashispreferable.
Overalongperiod,regulardishwashercleaningwilleventually
scratchthepots.Cleanaftereachuse.Besurethatyoudonot
use a harsh cleaning product that is based on citric acids or that
contains chlorine bleach. If cleaning by hand use warm, soapy
water and sponge or a dishcloth. Do not use steel wool or nylon
scrubbing pads, oven cleaner or any cleaner that is abrasive, is a
citrusbasedcleanserorcontainschlorinebleach.Rinseinwarm
water and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
• Alwayscleanyourcookwarethoroughly,anyremainingfood
residue will cook into the surface causing food to stick.
• Ifyouhaveremainsoffoodstucktothecookware,theycan
be easily be removed by covering the bottom of the pan with
water and letting it soak o while gently heating it at low
temperature (no need to let the water boil).
• Overheatingstainlesssteelcookwarecancauseblueor
auburn discolouration. This has no inuence on the cookware’s
performance and can be easily removed with a good detergent.
HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS
• Cookonahobburnerthatisapproximatelysimilarinbase
diameter to that of the pan, or use on induction.
• Whencookingongas,adjusttheamesoitdoesnotareup
the sides of the pan.
• Uselowheattowarmfoods,simmerorpreparedelicatesauces.
• Heatsettingsareveryimportant.Lowerheatsettingsarenot
only good for energy-saving but also avoids the pan becoming
too hot. The nature of this cookware is to hold and distribute
the heat more eectively, helping some protein-rich foods cook
more quickly.

Warning:
• Usecautionwhenremovinglidsorliftingwiththe
handles.Touchlightlytobesurethehandleshavenot
becomehot.Useovenmittsorpotholdersifnecessary.
• Thehandlesofyourpanaremadeofstainlesssteeland
constructedtominimizeheattransfer.Nevertheless,lidsand
handles may become hot during prolonged cooking.
• Donotallowchildrennearthestovewhileyoucook.
• Toavoidinjuryalwaysusecautionwhenhandlinghotpots.
• Forsafetyreasonsneverleavecookwareunattendedwhilein
use and make sure the handles do not extend over the edge of
the stove.
• Donotallowhandlestoextendoverahotburner,becausethe
handles could get hot.
