Mounting the cooker hood
Expansion plugs are provided to secure the hood to most types of
ceilings. A qualified technician is needed, however, to make sure that
the plugs are suitable for your ceiling. The ceiling must be strong
enough to hold the weight of the hood.
Preliminary operations: Assembly the cooker hood
support structure using the brackets supplied (Fig. 7): Using
all brackets, hood can have an height extension from a
minimum of 100cm to a maximum of 120cm; for minor
extension, do not use brackets B, in this way hood can have
an height extension from a minimum of 80cm to a
maximum of 100cm.
1. Fit an exhaust pipe (not supplied , to purchase) on the
connection ring above the motor housing, long enough
to reach the outside (Extraction of air) or the connection
ring mounted on the deflector (Recirculation, see also
mounting step 10 on Fig. 8).
Exhaust tube of Ø150mm can be used for Extraction of air
or Recirculation while exhaust tube of Ø 120 mm can be
used only in Extraction of air and by mounting an adapter
on the connection ring.
2. Fit the chimney cover assembly on the structure (Fig. 9).
