8.1 Oven Functions
Oven function Application
Off position To switch off the appliance.

Range of temperature levels adjustment for conventional
cooking (1 - 135 °C; 2 - 150 °C; 3 - 165 °C; 4 - 180 °C;
5 - 195 °C; 6 - 210 °C; 7 - 230 °C; 8 - 250 °C).
Grill To grill flat food and to make toast.
Oven lamp
To light up the oven interior without any cooking func-
tion. To use this function, press the oven lamp button.
Turnspit
To spit roasting meat. To use this function, turn the
turnspit knob to the Turnspit symbol.
8.2 Gas oven cooking
Ignition of oven gas burner:
1.
Open the oven door.
2.
Push and hold the spark generator
button (
).
3.
Turn the gas oven control knob coun-
terclockwise to the maximum posi-
tion. Push the knob in and hold. Re-
lease the spark generator button but
keep the gas oven control knob on
this position for approximately 10
seconds. Do not release it until the
flame comes on.
4.
Turn the gas oven control knob to the
necessary temperature setting.
If the oven gas burner does not
come on or if it accidentally goes
out:
1.
Release the gas oven control
knob and turn it to the Off po-
sition
.
2.
Open the oven door.
3.
After one minute, try to light
the oven gas burner again.
Manual ignition:
If there is no power supply, temporarily.
1.
Open the oven door.
2.
Hold a flame near the hole in the bot-
tom of the oven cavity.
3.
At the same time turn the gas oven
control knob counterclockwise to the
maximum temperature.
4.
When the flame comes on, keep the
gas oven control knob on the maxi-
mum position for approximately 10
seconds.
5.
Turn the gas oven control knob to the
necessary temperature setting.
Control the flame through the
holes in the bottom of the oven.
Oven safety device:
The gas oven has a thermocouple. It
stops the gas flow, if the flame goes out.
8.3 Turning off the oven burner
To put out the flame, turn the knob to the
off position.
8.4 Using the grill
WARNING!
Do not leave the appliance unat-
tended during grilling. The acces-
sible parts of the appliance be-
come hot. There is a risk of burns.
WARNING!
Keep children away when the grill
operates. There is a risk of burns.
WARNING!
Never use the grill with closed
door. There is a risk of fire or car-
bon monoxide emissions.

Open the appliance door.
