Put grill deflector A into position
above the door. Make sure that the
two catches engage correctly in the
holes in the top part of the front frame
of the oven cavity (underneath the
control panel).

Push and hold the spark generator
button.
4.
Turn the oven control knob to the Grill
position
. Push the knob in and
hold.
CAUTION!
Make sure to turn the knob as far
as it goes, avoiding the intermedi-
ary position between Off and Grill.
On intermediary positions the
spark generator can remain ac-
tive.
5.
Release the spark generator button.
6.
Keep the oven control knob in this
position for approximately 15 sec-
onds. Do not release it until the flame
comes on.
7.
Release the oven control knob.
8.
Preheat the grill for 5 to 10 minutes.
9.
Put the meat on the oven shelf and
put it on shelf level 3.
WARNING!
Do not put the meat on the high-
est shelf level. There is a risk of
fire.
10.
Put a baking tray or roasting pan be-
low, on shelf level 2, to collect the jui-
ces.
Do not put the meat directly in the
tray or pan.
11.
Keep the oven door slightly open.
12.
When the first side is roasted, turn the
meat over with a fork to avoid losing
its juice.
13.
When the second side is also ready,
remove the meat from the oven.
If the grill does not come on or ac-
cidentally goes out:
1.
Release the gas oven control
knob and turn it to the Off po-
sition.
2.
Open the appliance door.
3.
After one minute, try to light
the grill again.
Manual ignition:
If there is no power:
1.
Open the appliance door.
2.
Hold a flame near the burner of the
grill.
3.
Turn the oven control knob to .
Push the knob in and hold.
8.5 Turning off the grill burner
To put out the flame, turn the knob to the
off position.
8.6 Timer - Minute Minder
Use it to set a countdown time.
First turn the knob for the timer (refer to
"Product description") clockwise as far as
it goes. Then turn it counterclockwise to
the necessary time period value. A signal
sounds after the time period ends.
This function has no effect on the op-
eration of the oven.
