Before Using for the first time Setting and changing the time 3 The oven only operates when the time has been set. After connecting to the power supply or following a power cut, the arrow for Time will flash automatically. 1. To change a time that has already been set, first press the On/Off button . Then press the Clock Functions T button repeatedly until the arrow for Time flashes. Use the or button to set the correct time. After approx.

Initial cleaning Clean the oven before using it for the first time. 1 Important: Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents! These can damage the oven surfaces. 3 For the metal surfaces, available cleaning agents. use commercially 1. Open the oven door. The oven light is lit. 2. Remove all oven accessories, and clean them with warm water and a scouring agent. 3. Wash the oven in the same way, and wipe dry. 4. Wipe the front of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Oven function indicator Cook Time indicator Time functions Meat Probe Recipes 3 General instructions • Always switch the appliance on first by pressing the On/Off button. • When the selected function is lit, the oven begins to heat up or the time set begins to count down. • When the selected temperature is reached, an audible signal sounds. • The oven light is switched on as soon as an oven function is selected.
Oven Functions 3 The Pizza setting , Top Heat/Bottom Heat and Turbo All-Round Grill functions include an automatic Fast Warm Up function. This garantees that the temperature selected will be reached as quickly as possible. The oven has the following functions: Oven function Application Heating element/fan FAN COOKING For roasting and baking on up to three lev- Rear heating element, fan els at the same time. Set the oven temperatures 20-40 °C lower than when using upper/lower heat.
Switching the Oven On and Off Switching on the oven function 1. Switch on the appliance with the On/Off button. 2. Press the Oven Functions button repeatedly until the required oven function appears. – A suggested temperature appears on the temperature display. – If the suggested temperature is not changed within approximately 5 seconds, the oven will begin to heat up. Changing the oven temperature Press the oder button to adjust the temperature upwards or downwards. The setting changes in steps of 5°C.
Changing the oven function Press the Oven Functions button repeatedly until the required oven function appears. Switching off the oven function To switch off the oven, press the Oven Functions button repeatedly until an oven function is no longer displayed. Switching the oven off Switch off the appliance with the On/Off button. 3 Cooling fan The fan switches on automatically in order to keep the appliance’s surfaces cool.
Inserting the combination shelf, baking tray and general purpose tray Inserting the baking tray and general purpose tray: The trays have a little bulge on the left and right edges. These act as an anti-tip device and must always be located towards the rear when inserting the tray. Insert trays in the desired shelf positions. Inserting oven shelves: Insert the shelf at the desired position.
Rotary spit 3 Two different rotary spit supports are delivered: For standard side rails use the higher rotary spit support. For the side rails with triple oven shelf runners use the lower rotary spit support (with opening for the retaining pins on the oven shelf runners). Attaching the food to be grilled 1. Place a fork on the rotary spit. 2. Then position the food to be grilled and a second fork. 3 Make sure the food is in the middle of the spit. 3. Tighten the forks using the screws.
Inserting the rotary spit 1. Insert the rotary spit support at the front on the right-hand side in the third shelf position from the bottom. 3 If you are using the oven shelf runners that are available as special accessories, these must be pushed in fully. 2. Place the drip tray in the first shelf position from the bottom. 3. Place the handle on the spit and press the clip down. 3 The clip must be kept pressed down to keep the handle secure on the rotary spit. 4.
Removing the rotary spit 1 Warning: The rotary spit is very hot when the cooking process has ended. When taking it out, there is the risk of burns! 1. Switch off the oven. 2. Place the handle on the rotary spit. 3. Press the clip down. 3 The clip must be kept pressed down to keep the handle secure on the rotary spit. 4. Remove the rotary spit with the food.
Additional functions Recipes 3 For this function, use the recipes provided. Choose a recipe. 1. Press the Recipes button repeatedly until the required recipe is shown in the display. – The symbols for the appropriate oven function and the recommended oven level will appear in the function display. – The set temperature will appear in the temperature display. – The cooking time and the end time will appear in the clock displays. – The oven will switch on after approx. 5 seconds.
Meat probe For switching off the oven when the temperature at the centre of a roast reaches a set temperature. There are two temperatures to be set: – The oven temperature: see Roasting Table – The core temperature: See Meat probe Table 1 Important: Only the meat probe supplied may be used. If replacing, please use only original replacement parts. 1. Switch on the oven with the On/Off button. 2. Push the tip of the meat probe right into the meat so that the tip is in the centre of the meat. 3.
3 • The core temperature is shown starting from 30°C. • If the current core temperature is already displayed before the required core temperature has been set, press the Meat probe button and set the temperature. • To set the oven temperature, press the Meat probe button twice. • Within 5 seconds, use the oder button to set the required oven temperature. – As soon as the core temperature set is reached, an audible signal sounds and the oven switches itself off automatically. 6.
Clock Functions Countdown To set a countdown. A signal sounds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the functioning of the oven. Cook time To set how long the oven is to be in use. End time To set when the oven is to switch off again. Time To set, change or check the time (See also section “Before Using for the First Time”). 3 General hints • When a clock function has been selected, the related arrow flashes for around 5 seconds.
Countdown 1. Press the Clock Functions T button repeatedly until the arrow for Countdown flashes. 2. Use the or button to set the required countdown time (max. 99 minutes). After approx. 5 seconds, the display will show the time remaining. The arrow for Countdown is illuminated. When the time has elapsed, an audible signal sounds for 2 minutes “0.00” and the arrow for Countdown flashes. To turn off the audible signal: Press any button.
Cook time 1. Selecting the oven function and temperature. 2. Press the Clock Functions T button repeatedly until the arrow for Cook time flashes. 3. Use the time. or button to set the required cooking The arrow for Cook time is illuminated. When the time has elapsed, an audible signal sounds for 2 minutes. The oven switches itself off. “0.00“ and the arrow for Cook time flashes. To turn off the audible signal: Press any button.
End time 1. Select the oven function and temperature. 2. Press the Clock Functions T button repeatedly until the arrow for End time flashes. 3. Use the off time. or button to set the required switch- The arrow for End time is illuminated. When the time has elapsed, an audible signal sounds for 2 minutes. The oven switches itself off. “0.00“ and the arrow for End time To turn off the audible signal: Press any button. 28 flashes.
Cook time 3 Cook time and End time combined and End time can be used simultaneously if the oven is to be switched on and off automatically at a later time. 1. Select the oven function and temperature. 2. Using the Cook time function, set the time that the dish needs to cook, for example: 1 hour. 3. Using the End time function, set the time at which the dish should be ready, for example: 14:05. The arrows for Cook time and End time are illuminated.
Other Functions 3 Between 22:00 and 6:00, the brightness of the display is automatically reduced. Switching off the clock display 2 You can save energy by switching off the clock display. 1. Switch off the appliance with the On/Off button. 2. Press the Meat probe and buttons simultaneously until the display goes dark (approx. 2 seconds). 3 As soon as the appliance is switched on again, the display comes on automatically. When the appliance is next switched off, the clock display goes out again.
Activating the child safety device No oven function may be selected. – Press the Recipes and buttons until the display shows CHILD SAFETY. The child safety device is now engaged. Deactivating the child safety device – Press the Recipes and buttons until the CHILD SAFETY in the display goes out. The child safety device is now deactivated and the oven is again ready for use. Button lock To ensure that oven functions set are not accidentally altered. Switching on the Button Lock 1.
Deactivating the button lock – Press the Recipes and buttons simultaneously for approx. 2 seconds. The button lock is automatically lifted if the appliance is switched off. The oven's safety cut-out function 3 The oven automatically switches itself off if it is not switched off after a certain period of time or if the temperature is not adjusted. The last temperature to have been set flashes in the temperature display and a signal sounds.
Mechanical Door Lock When the appliance is delivered, the door lock is deactivated. Activate the door lock Pull the safety catch forwards until it locks in place. Open the oven door: 1. Shut the door. 2. Press the safety catch and keep it depressed. 3. Open the doors. Close the oven door Close the door without pressing the safety catch. Deactivating the door lock Press the safety catch back into the panel. 3 Switching off the appliance does not cancel the mechanical door lock.
Uses, Tables and Tips Baking Oven function: FAN COOKING BOTTOM or TOP Baking tins • For TOP BOTTOM tins are suitable. • For FAN COOKING suitable. dark metal and non-stick bright metal tins are also Oven levels • Baking with TOP BOTTOM is possible on one oven level. • With FAN COOKING you can bake on up to 3 baking trays at the same time: 1 baking tray: e.g. oven level 3 1 cake tin: e.g. oven level 1 2 baking trays: z. g.
General Instructions • Insert the tray with the bevel at the front. • With TOP BOTTOM or FAN COOKING you can also bake with two tins next to one another on the oven shelf at the same time. This does not significantly increase baking time. 3 When frozen foods are used the trays inserted may distort during cooking. This is due to the large difference in temperature between the freezing temperature and the temperature in the oven. Once the trays have cooled the distortion will disappear again.

Roasting Oven function: FAN COOKING Roasting dishes • Any heat-resistant ovenware is suitable to use for roasting (please read the manufacturer's instructions). • Large roasting joints can be roasted directly in the roasting tray or on the oven shelf with the roasting tray placed below it. • For all lean meats, we recommend roasting these in a roasting tin with a lid. This will keep the meat more succulent.

Making Preserves Oven function: BOTTOM HEAT • For preserving, use only commercially available preserve jars of the same size. • Jars with twist-off or bayonet type lids and metal tins are not suitable. • When making preserves, the first shelf position from the bottom is the one most used. • Use the shelf for making preserves. There is enough room on this for up to six 1-litre preserving jars. • The jars should all be filled to the same level and clamped shut.
Drying Oven function: FAN COOKING • Use oven shelves covered with greaseproof paper or baking parchment. • You get a better result if you switch the oven off halfway through the drying time, open the door and leave the oven to cool down overnight. • After this finish drying the food to be dried.
Recipes 1. SPONGE CAKE (Baking in tins) 3. FILLET OF FISH Ingredients: oven baked – – – – – – – – – 185g margarine 200g sugar 1 pkt. vanilla sugar 3 eggs 375g wheat flour 3 tbsp baking powder 1 pinch salt 100 ml milk 1 tbsp cocoa Instructions: Beat the margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until fluffy. Add the eggs one by one, mixing to form a fluffy paste. Mix the flour with the baking powder and milk, and add bit by bit to the paste, stirring lightly.

LASAGNE Ingredients: Ingredients: – – – – – – – – – 1000g potatoes 1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp pepper 2 cloves of garlic 300g grated Gruyère or Emmenthal cheese 3 eggs 250 ml milk 4 tbsp sweet cream 1 tbsp fresh thyme 4 tbsp butter Instructions: Cut the potatoes into thin slices, dry them, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Rub a flame-proof tin with a clove of garlic, and grease with a flat tablespoonful of butter.

CHICKEN 1200 G Ingredients: – – – – – – 2 chickens (1200 g each) 2 tsp salt 1 bunch parsley 2 tbsp tinned milk 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp sweet peppers Instructions: Take the chickens out of the packet and defrost at 50° for around 1 hour. Take out the innards, clean under hot running water, and dry well inside and out with a cloth. Season inside,fold the wings and spread the outside well with the mixture of tinned milk, oil, pepper, and salt. Lay the chickens on the oven grid.
Cleaning and Care 1 Warning: For cleaning, the appliance must be switched off and cooled down. Warning: For safety reasons, do not clean the appliance with steam jet or high-pressure cleaning equipment. Attention: Do not use any scouring agents, sharp cleaning tools or scourers. Outside of the appliance • Wipe the front of the appliance with a soft cloth and warm water and washing up liquid. • For metal fronts, use normal commercially available cleaning agents.
Perform pyrolytic cleaning 1 Warning: The oven gets very hot during this process. Keep small children away. 1 Important Before carrying out pyrolytic cleaning, all removable parts must be taken out of oven, including the slide-in grid. 3 If you use the oven shelf runners that are available as special accessories, these must be removed before pyrolytic cleaning. Perform pyrolytic cleaning 1. First remove the worst of the residue manually. 2. Select oven function PYROLUXE .
Shelf Support Rails The shelf support rails on the left and right hand sides of the oven can be removed for cleaning the side walls. Removing the shelf support rails First pull the front of the rail away from the oven wall (1) and then unhitch at the back (2). Fitting the shelf support rails 3 Important! The rounded ends of the guide rails must be pointing forwards! To re-insert, first hook the rail into place at the back (1) and then insert the front and press into place (2).
Oven Lighting 1 Warning: There is a danger of electric shock! Prior to changing the oven light bulb: – Switch off the oven! – Remove the fuses in the fuse box or switch off the circuit breaker. 3 Place a cloth on the oven floor to protect the oven light and glass cover. Replacing the oven light bulb/cleaning the glass cover 1. Remove the glass cover by turning it anti-clockwise and then clean it. 2. If necessary: Replace bulb with a 40 watt, 230 V, 300 °C heatresistant oven light bulb. 3.
Oven Door The door of your appliance may be removed for cleaning. Removing the oven door 1. Open the oven door completely. 2. Completely fold back the clamping levers on both door hinges. 3. Grip the oven door with both hands and close it about 3/4 going past the point of resistance. 4. Pull the door away from the oven (Caution: the door is heavy!) 5. Place the door, outer surface downwards, on a soft, flat surface, (for example on a blanket) to avoid scratches. Hanging the oven door 1.
Oven door glass The oven door is fitted with four sheets of glass set next to one another. The inner sheets can be removed for cleaning. 1 Caution: The following steps are to be performed only when the oven door has been removed. If the glass is removed while the door is attached, the leighter weight may cause it to spring up and cause injury. 1 Important! Rough handling of the glass, especially at the edges of the front plate, may cause it to break. Removing the upper-most glass plate 1.
Replacing the centre glass plates 1. From above, insert the centre plates obliquely into the retaining frame at the handle, one after another (á). 2. Lower the centre plates down and push them towards the lower edge of the door as far under the retaining frame as they will go (à). Replacing the upper glass plate 1.
