'HOW TO INSTALL YOUR APPLIANCE POSITIONING This appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperatures between 16°C (61°F) and 82°C It should be located in a dry atmosphere, out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperature e.g. not next to a cooker or other sources of direct heat, or in a very cold room e.g. an outhouse, where the temperatures may fall below 16°C i these ambient temperatures are exceeded the food storage times given on page 9 will not be maintained. Stand the appliance upright. if your appliance has & side fix handle. (see fig 7} 1 Protect paintwork on the door from damage, with masking tape or other suitable material while using a blunt knife or similar instrument to carefully pries out the plastic plugs from alternative handle positions on the opposite side of the door. 2} Remove the screw covers and screws from the handier and transfer #t to its new position replacing the plastic plugs in the vacated screw holes.
The wire colored green and yellow must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter "E” or by the Earth Symbol =t~ or colored green or green and yellow. The wire colored Blue must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter *N° or colored black. The wire colored Brown must be connected 1o the terminal marked "L" or colored red. Upon completion there must be no cut, loose or stray strands of wire present and the cord clamp must be secure over the outer sheath.
‘ HOW TO USE THE CONTROLS TEMPERATURE CONTROL . The interior temperature of the larder compartment is automatically controlled by the thermostat. The operating controls are situated under the flap at the front top panel. Set the thermostat knob to the position indicated in fig. 11. The control dial enables the desired degree of cooling to be selected. if a lower temperature is needed (e.g. during hot weather) tum the thermostat knob clockwise towards max or for less cooling anticlockwise towards min. .
