Door alarm
If the Freezer or Fridge door is left open for longer than 2
minutes a buzzer will sound and an icon will flash. Close
the door to deactivate the alarm. If you want to leave the
door open while you load the fridge, the alarm can be
muted for 8 minutes by pressing the ‘lock’ button.
This icon illuminates automatically if the food door is
open.
This icon illuminates automatically if the freezer door is
open.
DOOR AJAR This icon illuminates when either door is
open.
Freezer temperature alarm
If the freezer becomes too warm, a buzzer will sound,
the ‘High Temp.’ icon, freezer set temperature and bar
graph will flash until the alarm is reset by pressing the
‘lock’ button.
Once pressed the alarm is muted for 50 minutes but the
icons will continue to flash until the temperature reaches
an acceptable level. The over temperature alarm can be
silenced for 12 hours by touching and holding the lock
button for 10 seconds when a second beep will sound.
Check that the freezer door has not been left open
or warm food has not been placed too close to the
temperature sensor in the freezer. See diagrams in the
‘components’ section for the sensor location. If the freezer
is still too warm the alarm will sound again in 50 minutes,
indicating that something may be wrong with your
refrigerator.
Icemaker off
The automatic ice maker can be turned on and off by
pressing and holding the ‘ice off’ icon for 5 seconds.
The ‘ice off’ icon will illuminate on the electronic display
when the ice maker is off. To turn on the ice maker simply
touch the icon again. The ‘ice off’ icon will disappear. (2
hours after icemaker has been turned off , the ice maker
will empty the ice tray but it will stop making more ice).
Ice can continue to be dispensed when ice maker has
been turned off.
Ice bin removed
If the ice bin has been removed or not located properly
in the correct position, the ‘ice off’ icon will appear on the
display. With the ice bin removed the automatic icemaker
with stop harvesting ice and the ice dispenser system will
stop. If the ice lever is pressed the console LED light will
flash 3 times to indicate that the ice bin is not in place.
Water filter status
You can choose whether to:
‘Remind me later’ by touching the ‘fast ice’ button, the
‘Replace water filter’ word will disappear but the ‘Filter
icon’ will stay on and alarm sound will stop for 1 week.
OR
Replace the filter and then press & hold filter icon for 3
seconds to reset. The alarm sound will stop, ‘replace
water filter’ icon and ‘alarm’ icon and will disappear. The
electronics in the refrigerator will start to accumulate the
time again for the next 12 months.
