Pakasteruokien säilyttäminen
Ottaessasi laitteen käyttöön, sekä pakastimen oltua
poissa käytöstä, aseta elintarvikkeet pakastimeen,
kun FROSTMATIC-toiminto on ollut toiminnassa
vähintään kahden tunnin ajan, tämän jälkeen kytke
toiminto pois päältä.
Tärkeää
Jos pakastin on pois päältä esim. sähkökatkon
vuoksi yli teknisten tietojen taulukon kohdassa
“lämpötilan kohoamisaika” annetun arvon, käytä
elintarvikkeet mahdollisimman pian tai valmista
ne välittömästi ja pakasta uudelleen
(jäähtyneinä).
Sulatus
Syväjäädytetyt tai pakastetut elintarvikkeet voidaan
ennen käyttöä sulattaa jääkaapissa tai
huoneenlämmössä riippuen sulatukseen
käytettävissä olevasta ajasta.
Pienet annokset voidaan valmistaa ruoaksi
sulattamatta, suoraan pakastimesta: tällöin
valmistusaika luonnollisesti pitenee.
Jääpalojen valmistus
Laitteessa on yksi tai useampi astia jääpalojen
valmistukseen.
Täytä astiat vedellä ja laita ne pakastimeen.
Älä käytä metalliesineitä astioiden irrottamiseen
pakastimesta.
Hälytyksen kuittauspainike
Jos lämpötila pakastimessa nousee liian korkeaksi,
syttyy hälytyksen rnerkkivalo (O) ja äänimerkki
kuuluu. Kun lämpötila pakastimessa on laskenut
riittävästi, lakkaa hälytyksen äänimerklki
kuulumasta, mutta hälytyksen merkkivalo vilkkuu
edelleen. Painamalla hälytyksen kuittauspainilketta,
näkyy lämpötilanäytössä korkein lämpötila, joka on
ollut pakastimessa.
Tuoreiden ruokien pakastaminen
Pakastin on sopiva tuoreiden ruokien
pakastamiseen ja pakasteiden pitkäaikaiseen
säilyttämiseen.
Tuoreiden ruokien pakastamiseksi kytke
FROSTMATIC-toiminto toimintaan vähintään 24
tuntia aikaisemmin.
Aseta pakastettavat ruoat ylimmälle pakastimen
hyllylle.

Storage of frozen food
When first starting-up or after a period out of use,
before putting the products in the compartment let
the appliance run for at least two hours on the fast
frost setting, then push again the Super-frost button.
Important
In the event of accidental defrosting, for example
due to a power failure, if the power has been off
for longer that the value shown in the technical
characteristics chart under “rising time”, the
defrosted food must be consumed quickly or
cooked immediately and then refrozen (after
cooling).
Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can
be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at
room temperature, depending on the time available
for this operation.
Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly
from the freezer: in this case, cooking will take longer.
Ice-cube production
This appliance is equipped with one or more trays
for the production of ice-cubes. Fill these trays with
water, then put them in the freezer compartment.
Do not use metallic instruments to remove the
trays from the freezer.

In the event of an abnormal temperature rise inside
the freezer (e.g. power cut) warning light (O) will
start to flash and a buzzer will sound.
After the temperature has returned to normal, the
warning light (O) will continue to flash, although the
buzzer has stopped.
When the alarm button (P) is pressed, the warmest
temperature reached in the compartment flashes on
the indicator (K).
If the power has been off for a long time, frozen food
should be consumed as quickly as possible, or
cooked and then re-frozen.
Freezing fresh food
To freeze fresh food, press the Super Frost button
(N) at least 24 hours before.
Place the food to be frozen in the upper
compartment. The maximum quantity of food which
can be frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating plate.

Operation
Insert the plug in the power socket. Press the button
ON/OFF (I). The freezer is switched on.
The freezer is pre-set to run at -18°C. this
temperature will be reached in a few hours.
As soon as the appliance is switched on the
temperature indicator (K) shows the current
temperature inside the freezer, the alarm reset light
(O) flashes and a buzzer sounds. Press the alarm
reset button (P). The buzzer stops and the alarm
light (O) continues to flash until the setting
temperature is reached.
