Dear customer, Transport damages Please read these operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention to the safety notes indicated in the first pages. The following warnings are provided in the interests of overall safety. Programme Option buttons Press this button to switch the machine on. Press it again to switch the machine off. Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined.
By selecting this option the spinning phases are suppressed. To be selected for all the programmes. The duration is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum recommended load for each type of fabric. After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated every minute. Delayed start The selected delay (23 hours max) set by means of the relevant button appears on the display for 3 seconds, then the duration of the previously selected programme is displayed. The countdown is updated every hour.
ENGLISH 14 Programme progress display By selecting the wash programme, the pilot lights corresponding to the various phases making up the programme come on. After the machine has started, only the running phase pilot light stays on. When the programme has finished, the End pilot light comes on. The END pilot light flashes in the event of operating problems. At the same time an alarm code appears on the display.
Programme information / D = Delicate spin Wool/Handwash Separate short spin at the maximum speed 700 rpm for hand washed garments. It has to be used for synthetic, delicate, wool/handwashed, silk items. You can reduce the speed by means of button to adapt it to the fabrics to be spun. Laundry weights The following weights are indicative: Sorting the laundry bathrobe Follow the wash code symbols on each garment label and the manufacturer’s washing instructions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens.
Ink: depending on the type of ink, moisten the fabric first with acetone (*), then with acetic acid; treat any residual marks on white fabrics with bleach and then rinse thoroughly. Quantity of detergent to be used The type and quantity of detergent will depend on the type of fabric, load size, degree of soiling and hardness of the water used. Tar stains: first treat with stain remover, methylated spirits or benzine, then rub with detergent paste.
4. Switch the machine on To switch the machine on, press the ON/OFF button: the mains-on light comes on. Before the first wash we recommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment of the detergent drawer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton cycle at 60°C, with the machine empty, in order to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub. Pour half a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment and start up the machine. --0 1. Open the door.
7. Select the required options 10. Changing an option or a programme during its cycle The light corresponding to the depressed button illuminates. It is possible to change any option before the programme carries it out. Before you make any change, you must pause the washing machine by pressing the START/PAUSE button. Maintenance Detergent can also accumulate inside the drawer recess: clean it with an old toothbrush. Refit the drawer after cleaning. Bodywork Clean the outside of the machine with soap and water only. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Important: do not use methylated spirits, solvents or similar products to clean the bodywork. Door seal Check from time to time the door seal and eliminate eventual possible objects that could be trapped in the fold.
If the water is not discharged, proceed as follows to empty out the machine: • pull out the plug from the power socket; • close the water tap; • if necessary, wait until the water has cooled down; • open the pump door; • place a bowl on the floor and place the end of the emergency emptying hose into the bowl. Remove its cap. The water should drain by gravity into the bowl. Whe the bowl is full, put the cap back on the hose. Empty the bowl.
Something not working? Problems which you can resolve yourself. During machine operation it is possible that one of the following alarm codes appears on the display and at the same time the light starts to flash: - E10 : problem with the water supply - E20 : problem with water draining - E40 : door open Once the problem has been eliminated, press the START/PAUSE button to restart the programme. If after all checks, the problem persists, contact your local Service Centre.
Possible cause • The door will not open: • • • • The programme is still running. The door lock has not yet released. The water level is above the bottom edge of the door. The machine is heating the water. • Spinning starts late or the laundry is not spun enough: • The electronic unbalance detection device has cut in because the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistributed by reverse rotation of the drum.
