Changing the Wash Programme
Changing or cancelling the programme
1. Press the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause, Marche/
Pause) button.
2. Turn the programme knob to OFF (Aus, Arrêt).
The wash programme is cancelled.
3. Set another wash programme, if required. Other-
wise, turn the programme knob to DRAIN
(Pumpen, Vidange) or SPIN (Schleudern, Essor-
age) and press the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause,
Marche/Pause) button.
(The water is drained or the washing is spun.)

The wash programme can be interrupted at
any time by pressing the START/PAUSE
(Start/Pause, Marche/Pause) button. It is
then re-started by pressing the button again.
A wash programme can only be changed
after the programme knob has been turned
to OFF (Aus, Arrêt).
Selecting an Additional Programme
Function
The additional programme functions QUICK WASH
(Kurz, Court) or STAIN (Flecken, Tâches) can still be
selected after the programme has started.
1. Press the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause, Marche/
Pause) button.
2. Press the QUICK WASH (Kurz, Court) or STAIN
(Flecken, Tâches) button.
3. Press the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause, Marche/
Pause) button again. The wash programme con-
tinues.
Changing the Spin Speed
Spin speed can still be changed or RINSE HOLD
(Spülstopp, Arrêt Cuvé Pleine) set, while the pro-
gramme is running.
1. Press the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause, Marche/
Pause) button.
2. Change the spin speed with the Spin Speed/
RINSE HOLD (Spülstopp, Arrêt Cuvé Pleine) but-
ton.
3. Press the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause, Marche/
Pause) button again. The wash programme con-
tinues.
End of Wash Cycle/Removing the Washing
When a wash cycle is completed, the END (Ende,
Fin) light on the Programme Progress Display comes
on.
If RINSE HOLD (Spülstopp, Arrêt Cuvé Pleine) was
selected, the indicator lights DOOR (Tür, Porte) and
END (Ende, Fin) come on.
1. After a Rinse Hold, the water must first be
drained:
– Either turn the programme knob to OFF (Aus,
Arrêt), then to DRAIN (Pumpen, Vidange) and
press the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause, Marche/
Pause) button (the water is drained without spin-
ning),
or
– turn the programme knob to OFF (Aus, Arrêt),
then to SPIN (Schleudern, Essorage) and press
the START/PAUSE (Start/Pause, Marche/Pause)
button (the water is drained and the washing is
given a spin; the spin speed can be altered during
the spin).
When this stage of the programme is completed, the
END (Ende, Fin) light comes on.
2. Opening the door.
The door can be opened after the DOOR (Tür,
Porte) light goes off and the END (Ende, Fin) light
has come on.
3. Take out the washing.
4. Turn the programme knob to OFF (Aus, Arrêt).
5. Close the stopcock.
6. After the wash cycle is completed, pull out the
detergent/additives drawer slightly to allow it to
dry. Leave the door slightly open to air the inside
of the washing machine.
Important! If the washing machine is not used for a
long time: turn off the tap and disconnect the wash-
ing machine from the mains.
