1-17 Setting up PostScript or PCL printing with Windows NT 4.0
NOTE: For Windows NT 4.0, you cannot specify Installable Options in the Advanced
tab of the Fiery EX2101 Document Properties dialog box when printing from an
application. To correctly specify Installable Options, install the printer driver from the
User Software CD. Print your job to the Hold Queue and then override the options
from the Command WorkStation Properties window or Fiery WebSpooler Override
Print Settings dialog box. For more information, see the Printing Guide and
Job Management Guide.
TO CONFIGURE INSTALLABLE OPTIONS ON THE FIERY EX2101 FROM THE PCL
PRINTER DRIVER
1. Click the Start button, choose Settings, and then choose Printers.
2. Right-click the Fiery EX2101 icon and choose Document Defaults.
3. Click the Installable Options tab and specify the options installed on the
Fiery EX2101.
4. Select an installed option from the Available Options list, and click Add to move the
option to the Installed Options list.
Tray 6 (HCF)
—Not Installed, Tray 6 (HCF)
Punch Options—Not Installed, 2/4 Hole Punch Unit, 3 Hole Punch Unit
NOTE: The Booklet Tray Option and Folder Tray Option is not available for the PCL
driver.
5. Click OK.
