If the batter y casing is dismantled, small amounts of electrolyte may leak. Collect all released material in a plastic
lined container. Dispose off according to the local law and rules. Avoid leached substance s to get into the earth,
canalizationorwaters.
7. Handlingandstorage
(a)Precautionsforsafehandling
Alwaysfollowthewarninginformationon thebatteriesand in themanuals ofdevices.Only usetherecommended
batterytypes.Keep batteriesaway fromchildren. For devices to be usedby children,the batter y casing should be
protected against unauthorized access. Unpacked batteries shall not lie about in bulk. In
case of battery change
alwaysreplaceallbatteries bynewonesofidenticaltypeandbrand.Donotswallowbatteries.Donotthrowbatteries
intowater.Do not throwbatteries into fire.Avoiddeepdischarge. Donot short‐circuit batteriesUse recommended
chargingtimeandcurrent.
(b)Conditionsforsafestorage,
includinganyincompatibilities
Ifthebatteryis subjectto storage for suchalongterm asmorethan3 months,itisrecommendedto rechargethe
batteryperiodically. Andrecommendedat‐5℃~45℃ for1monthstorage, at‐5℃~35℃ for3monthsstorage.Do
notstoragethebattery
haphazardlyina boxordrawerwheretheymayshort‐circuiteachotherorbeshort‐circuited
byothermetalobjects.Keepoutofreachofchildren.
