In this example, the Analog Rytm MKII creates the beats. The Analog Four MKII is used for bass and synth
sounds. The Octatrack MKII plays back loops and samples the audio from the Analog Rytm MKII and the
Analog Four MKII.
1. Connect the Analog Rytm MKII main outputs to the Analog Four MKII inputs, the Analog Four MKII main
outputs to one of the input pairs of the Octatrack MKII, and the main outputs of the Octatrack MKII to
the PA.
2. Make sure the Analog machines are MIDI slaved to the Octatrack MKII using two standard MIDI cables.
3. In GLOBAL SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG > SYNC menu on the Analog Rytm MKII, ensure that CLOCK
RECEIVE, and PROG CH RECEIVE is active.
4. In GLOBAL SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG menu on the Analog Rytm MKII, set INPUT
FROM to MIDI or MIDI+USB.
5. Use the internal eects of the Analog Four MKII on the incoming signal from the Analog Rytm MKII. Make
a performance macro on the Analog Four MKII that controls the desired FX parameters.
