OVERBRIDGE enables Overbridge functionality and disables USB MIDI on the device.
USB MIDI selects USB MIDI and disables Overbridge functionality.
INT TO MAIN OFF: No sound is sent to main out. ON: Sound is always sent to main out. AUTO: No
sound is sent to main out when Overbridge is available and streaming sound, if not, the sound is sent
to main out.
USB TO MAIN [dB] sets the amount of amplification of the sound that is streamed over USB to the
Digitone Keys main out.
14.6.2 OS UPGRADE
Use this menu option when you want to upgrade the Digitone Keys OS. Use our free C6 software to send
the OS syx file. You can download the C6 software and the OS syx file from the Elektron website.
You must connect the device you use to send the OS syx file to either the MIDI IN or USB port of Digi-
tone Keys for the transfer to be possible.
Please note that the Digitone Keys does not appear as an icon on your computer desktop.
1. Press [YES] to make Digitone Keys start listening for incoming OS SysEx data. If you wish to can-
cel the waiting state, press [NO].
2. In C6, click CONFIGURE and select Elektron Digitone Keys for MIDI In as well as MIDI Out.
3. Drag and drop the OS syx file on the C6 main window, and then highlight it by clicking it.
4. Click the “SEND” button in the top left corner of the C6 window.
A progress bar is visible on the Digitone Keyss screen when receiving the OS. When the process is
completed, the OS is updated, and the unit reboots.
If the Digitone Keys is receiving the OS upgrade through the MIDI ports, use the Elektron
TM-1 USB MIDI interface for up to 10x transfer speeds.
14.6.3 FORMAT +DRIVE
You can delete all projects and Sounds from the +Drive. Tick the PROJECTS+SOUNDS box, and then se-
lect ERASE SELECTED DATA, and press [YES] to proceed with the formatting. A prompt appears asking
if you are sure you want to continue with the formatting procedure. Press [YES] to confirm.
