Maintenance
ATTENTION! Before performing any maintenance operation, isolate the hood from the electrical supply by switching off at the
connector and removing the connector fuse.
Or if the appliance has been connected through a plug and socket, then the plug must be removed from the socket.
Cleaning
Do not spray cleaners directly to the control while cleaning the Hood.
Fan protection grille can be detached for cleaning by removing the screws with a screwdriver. It must be reinstalled after clean.
The oil cup in the center of the hood for holding grease can be detached and cleaned regularly.
Clean oil collectors when they are more than half filled with oil to avoid spill-over.
Dismantling, Cleaning and Re-Installing
WARNING! All operations described in this paragraph must be done by an authorized/qualified technician.
Whenever dismantling, re-installing or cleaning the cooker hood, please always unplug the power plug.
When dismantling, re-stalling or cleaning, please always wear latex or rubber gloves for safety.
Never spill or spray water to motors directly.
For any damaged wires or power cord, please contact the manufacturer, service agent or qualified technicians for repairing.
DO NOT repair the cooker hood by yourself.
Before dismantling, cleaning and re-installing, please know well about name, quantity and location of dismantled parts to
avoid of shortage and mis-installation.
Dismantling & Re-installing Chart
please, also refer to paragraph "Description of the hood"
Dismantling
a. First, take off the (4) big oil cup and the (1) small oil
cups.
b. Loosen six screws in the front right/left side of (5) base
plate to take off the base plate.
c. Turn clockwise direction to take (2)/(6) vane guard/oil
guide plates off.
d. Hold the (8) vane, then turn clockwise to take (7) vane
cap-screw off and pull out the vane simultaneously.
Cleaning
Immerse all the dismantled parts in neutral detergent water
for 30 minutes then wash them with a nylon brush and let
dry the parts before re-installing them.
Note: (6) oil guide, (2) vane guard and (1) small oil cups are
assembled as a set, however, they can still be dismantled
individually.
Reinstalling
a. When reinstalling (8) vane, the vane must be locked on
to the pin of motors.
b. Turn counter clockwise direction to fasten (7) vane cap
screw.
c. Turn counter clockwise direction to lock (2)/(6) vane
guard/oil guide plate back to original position.
d. End edge of base plate to connect the (10) body (as
seen on the chart) then push base plate upward, and
tighten the screws.
e. Reinstall (4) big oil cup and the (1) small oil cups in
order.
