PERIMETER ASPIRATION
Perimeter aspiration represents an alternative
aspiration technology. The product functions
in such a way that the airflow is moved from
the central area to the external perimeter of
the hood, a technique that not only does not
overload the motor power but in fact reduces
energy consumption and noise. This method also
creates a different visual effect, and Elica has
taken advantage of this to make the hood even
more beautiful. The use of a steel and glass panel
provides better illumination for the cooking area
and also completely covers the grease filter, thus
greatly simplifying cleaning and maintenance
operations for the product.
EDS3 – EDS3 PLUS
Bringing a new level of silence to decorative
hoods, Elica’s patented innovative noise
reduction system Elica Deep Silence (EDS3) now
means that at low speeds you’ll barely hear the
hood at all! The difference made by the sound-
absorbing performance of the new EDS3 system
in comparison with the previous generation is like
comparing a bustling office environment with
one or two people chatting quietly in a library.
This remarkable reduction in domestic noise
pollution creates new possibilities for both the
hood and the kitchen. During normal operation
Elica Deep Silence ensures a noise reduction of
more than 35% compared to conventional cooker
hoods. Today’s technology can take us to places
we could once only dream about. And thanks to
the new, even more powerful Elica Deep Silence
Plus system, Elica has reached an objective that
once seemed impossible: a noise reduction of
over 40%.
EVOLUTION SYSTEM
The unique super-compact “all-in-one”system,
patented by Elica has revolutionized the world of
“home” ventilation.
With Evolution, performance, air purification,
halogen lighting, Magic Wand control, highly
efficient grease and charcoal filters are built into
a compact steel cylinder.
SECRET SCREEN
Secret Screen is a completely flat, vertical system
consisting of a front panel which in operation,
opens up as if by magic, to provide superb air
flow performance. The vertical wall-installation
and ultra-flat form also offer a great benefit to
the cook, optimising its use above the cook top.
And the hoods “secret ingredient” – its compact,
versatile technology – ensures extreme flexibility
for performance, design and use, making Secret
Screen models truly unique.
MAGIC WAND
Cutting edge technology “magically” slipped into
a slender steel stem: Elica’s patented innovative
control interface “Magic Wand” makes operating
a product not only easy but a real pleasure as
well. Just a light touch on the upper section of
the stem to regulate the air-flow or on the lower
section to operate the decorative illumination and
the lighting for the cook top. An illuminated ring
changes colour to indicate the operational status
of the hood. The Magic Wand electronic sensor
control is present on all the hoods that use the
Evolution system.
PURE TECHNOLOGY
Elica introduces “Pure” technology. Switching on
the “Pure” function, your hood will automatically
work at first speed for 5 minutes every half an
hour, providing a constant, continuous and silent
change of air.
And you don’t even have to be there.
REMOTE CONTROL
Elica’s elegant remote control allows you to
control ventilation and halogen lighting from
anywhere in the room. It’s optionally available for
Evolution models, Om Special Edition and Vogue.
