The Portalite softbox is an ultra compact softbox with

great performance. Portalites are made out of the same

quality material as Elinchrom uses for the Rotalux range.

The EL speed ring and rods are designed to give good

stability and quick assembly. Portalite is a professional

and competitively priced system.

The Portalite series is available in square sizes 40 x 40 cm

and 66 x 66 cm. There is also a new 56 cm Octa design

that works as a small beauty dish when used with the

optional deﬂector set.

Rotalux octa softboxes are very popular amongst beauty and fashion photogra-

phers, as they prefer the round catchlight given. You can also create a great

folding beauty dish just by removing the front and inner diﬀusers and adding one

of the optional deﬂectors.

Rotalux deep octa softboxes have become the most popular shape among Rotalux

users. The narrow shaped Deep Octa reduces the spread of light and oﬀers

sharper shadows compared to standard sized octagonal softboxes. They provide a

very even diﬀuse light over the front diﬀuser and are an excellent crispy and

direct light when used without diﬀusers to give a beauty dish look.
