SHORT CORD PURPOSE Note: A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord. Longer power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
PARTS IDENTIFICATION BEFORE FIRST USE Remove all packaging materials before using. Wipe clean the interior and exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. When using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water. NOTE: 1. Use only cold water when filling the device. 2. Use only filtered water to reduce lime scale buildup. 3. The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks. 4.
HOW TO USE 1. 2. 3. 4. Open the lid by pressing the pulling the lid knob (Figure 1). Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill. Be sure not to exceed the MAX line. To close the lid, push down until it snaps into place. Always place the 360° swivel base on a flat, level surface. Place the kettle onto the 360° swivel base (Figure 2). Check if the voltage at your location is the same as that of the kettle. Details can be found on the label of the kettle base.
