Clean the device as described under Cleaning & Maintenance. Grind only coffee, nuts or spices in this appliance. When not in use and during cleaning, always unplug the unit. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Turn the lid in opposite direction of the arrow marking (open lock symbol), and then lift it up. Fill the coffee receptacle with the desired amount of coffee beans. Do not overfill the receptacle! Install the lid on the coffee grinder, and then turn it in the direction of the arrow marking (closed lock symbol) until it clicks into place.
