In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. It is necessary to have adequate ventilation space around the ice maker in order to sustain proper performance, dissipation of heat, maintain efficiency and keep power consumption low. There should be a 5 inch minimum clearance maintained at the rear and sides of the unit and 8 on the top of the unit. Cleaning: It is highly recommended to thoroughly clean the ice maker before first use.

Do not exceed the maximum water level line or fill less than the minimum water level line (See Figure 1). Place the Ice Basket back into the ice maker. Make sure the water level in the water reservoir is not higher than the bottom of the Ice Basket. Plug in the unit. Press "SELECT" to choose the desired ice cube size “SMALL” or "LARGE.
