NOTICE
It is recommended to attach the
front cover with the top two
mounting screws to prevent it from falling away from
the water dispenser while the lter unit is being
installed.
2. Place the lter unit into the wall opening and slide it up
against the bottom of the water dispenser. Make sure
the lter unit is in alignment with the water dispenser
and screw it in place using four #8 athead screws.
Do not completely tighten the screws until the lter
unit cover is installed and the t between the water
dispenser cover and the lter cover is checked.
Note: Some side-to-side and up-and-down movement of
the housing is capable to accurately align the filter
unit with the water dispenser.
3. Replace the lter unit cover and check the gap
between the two covers. Adjust the lter box to create
an even gap all the way across the units.
Create an even gap across the entire unit.
4.5.3 Connecting the Water Lines
1. Connect the 1/4 inch water line from the water
dispenser to the lter housing.
NOTICE
Do not disconnect the 1/4 inch
tubing from the water valve at
the top of the water dispenser. This connection has
been factory tested to be leak-free and could result in
water leaking into the unit if this connection is
changed.
a. If the lter unit is installed below the water
dispenser, connect the 1/4 inch tube to the tting
below the lter, as shown.
