ADC3-40M is an analog-to-digital converter and is equipped with 4 analog inputs and 2
temperature inputs.
Analog inputs are used to connect analog sensors that generate a voltage or current
signal.
The analog inputs have a resolution of a 14-bit AD converter.
The analog inputs have a common terminal GND.
Analog inputs are confi gurable in IDM independently as voltage (U) or current (I).
ADC3-40M is designed to capture as analog voltage signals from a weather station.
The red LED on the front panel indicate overload of the analog input or sensor break.
The temperature inputs at the top of the terminal are used to connect the following
temperature sensors:
- TC / TZ - 2-wire connections
- Ni 1000, Pt1000, Pt100 - 2-wire and 3-wire connections.
ADC3-40M in 3-MODULE version i s designed for mounting into a switchboard, on a DIN
rail EN60715.
