6.1.5. Procedure for Cleaning TrackSense
®
LyoPro Data Loggers
If any corrosion is present near the battery contacts, verify that no leaking is
occurring. Lightly clean the contacts with a cotton swap and alcohol. Change
the o-ring if necessary. Let the area dry before placing the battery in the data
logger.
Generally, the data logger can be:
• Manually washed/wiped with Water for Injection (WFI)
• Manually wiped with Ethanol
• Decontaminated with vaporized H2O2 – mac. Concentration of 10%
• Autoclaved/sterilized at 121 °C for a max. of 30 mins.
6.1.6. Procedure for Changing the Data Logger O-Ring
The TrackSense LyoPro data logger contains one o-ring, which is located at the
battery compartment lid. The o-ring should be replaced with every battery
change. Apply a light coat of grease to the o-ring. Be careful and keep the
grease away from any battery contacts.

6.1.7. Extended Warranty
Ellab offers an extended warranty on all new TrackSense LyoPro data loggers.
The extension is from 2 to 5 years. The warranty needs to be purchased
together with the data logger. Please contact your local Ellab sales
representative for pricing.
6.1.8. Thermocouple Sensor
