8.2.3.1. Proper Use and Setup
1. Reference the user manual before unpacking and setup
2. Before the dry blocks can be used in conjunction with the
ValSuite software, JofraCal needs to be installed
3. Connect the USB cable from the USB port on the computer,
to the USB port on the dry block
4. Connect the power cable to an appropriate outlet and turn
the bath on
Note: Ensure that the power supply is grounded and
connected to the bath USB port and PC before connecting
the power
.
5. Using the software manual, verify that ValSuite is detecting
the dry block
8.3. ValSuite
®
Calibration Options
ValSuite software includes three different methods for calibrating data loggers:
Manual Calibration, Semi-Automatic (only for temperature) and Full Automatic
(only for temperature).
8.3.1. Manual Calibration
First enter the reference value (temperature), then select the time of the
reference reading, and the software will calculate the offsets.
Note: Please reference the software manual for setting up and running a
semiautomatic or full automatic calibration in the ValSuite software.
9. Accessories
Ellab manufactures a wide range of accessories allowing the LyoPro data logger to
be adapted to every standard vial from 2R to 100R. Meaning nominal volumes
between 4 and 123 ml, as well as a height between 35 and 100 mm according to
norm ISO 8362-1:2008.
The unique design allows for the handling of ANY size of vial, simply by introducing
a combination of the appropriate LyoStopper, LoggerNest and LoggerClip.
