4.11.2. USB 2.0 Communication
The USB network consists of Host controller and multiple devices. The Gold Solo Trombone is a
USB Device.
Notes for connecting the USB communication cable:
• Connect a mini USB cable.
• D+ and D- are a twisted pair in the cable.
• The maximum cable length is 5 m.
• The cable shield should only be connected to Ground at the host.
• The shield of the cable is connected to the shield of the connector used for
communications.
