1. TaptheHOMEsmartkey
ontheblackbezeltomakesureyouareonthehomescreen.Tap
the4thkeyfromthebottomoftheon‐screenmenuattherighttolaunchthewebbrowser.
2. Ifyoudonotseetheaddressbar,scrolluptothetopofthepage.Often
theGooglepagewillload
scrolledpartwaydownsothatthesearchwindowisrevealedbuttheaddressbarishiddenatthe
topunlessyouscrollup.
3. Inthetoprightcorner,nexttotheaddressbar,isabuttonforBOOKMARKS
4. TaptheBOOKMARKSbutton
toseealistoffavoritesites.Todeleteabookmark,pressandHOLDthe
bookmarkuntilapopupmenuappears,thenscrolldownandselectDELETEBOOKMARK.Youcan
alsochooseSETASHOMEPAGE,OPEN,OPENINNEWWINDOWandotherchoices.
6. YoucanchooseListVieworThumbnail
ViewbytappingtheShortcutsbuttonontheblackbezel
andtappingtheappropriateselectionatthebottomright.Allbookmarksarelistedinalphabetical
order.
7. Toaddabookmark,navigatetothepage youwa ntandtaptheBOOKMARKSbutton .Thentap
theADDiconinthe

PINCH&ZOOM:
TheA7Tabletisa1+1Touchdevice,notatruemulti‐touchdevice.However,thefirmwarehasbeen
engineeredtosimulatepinch&zoomforthephotogalleryandwebbrowserapplications.When
browsingtheinternet,youcanusetwofingerstopinch&zoomonanywebpage.You
canalsolightly
touchthebottomrightcornerofawebpagetoactivatethe+/‐buttonsformorecontrolledzooming.

Whenusingthepinch&zoomfeatureinthephotogallery, youwill noticethatthephotosgooutof
focuswhileresizing,thenregainsharpfocusafter
thenewsizehassettled.Thisisnormal.

Pinch&zoomonthirdpartyappli cations,suchasAngryBirds,isnotsupported.


butthisisokay.Itistheonlywaytoinstallnon‐AndroidMarketapps.TapOK.

Usethewebbrowsertolocatethedesiredappsyouwanttodow nload.Forexample,youcanlaunchthe
Getjarstorewhichispre‐installedtofindAngry
Birds.Orgotowww.elocitynow.com/freeappstoaccess 
severalotherrecommendedapplications.Tapthedownloadbuttonorothericontostartyour
downloadasdirectedbythesite.Youwillseeawhitearrowatthetopleftofyourscreen,animating
withdownwardstrokestoindicatethedownloadinprogress.Whenthedownloadiscomplete,
the
animationwillstopandyouwillseejustasolidwhitearrow.

TaptheHOMEsmartkey
ontheblackbezeltoreturntothehomescreen,thentaptheShortcuts
buttonontheblackbezeltoaccessthepopupmenuatthebottomofthescreen.Tap
NOTIFICATIONS,thentaptheAPKfileyouhavedownloaded.Fromthepopupscreen,tapINSTALL.The
applicationshouldinstallquickly
andthengiveyoutheoptiontoOPENtheapplicationorchooseDONE
tocontinuewithoutlaunchingtheapp.Aniconforthenewappwillautomaticallybeplacedonthe
applicationspageandcanbeaccessedbytappingthecenterbuttonattherightofthescreen.




