10. Test the configured ConnectHome options, by:
a. Select a delivery method from the Test Type drop-down box and click Test. This
sends a test ConnectHome message to the service provider by using the delivery
message.
b. If you receive a message that the test was successful, contact EMC or your third-
party service provider and verify that they have received the message. If you receive
a message that the test failed, follow the troubleshooting steps listed in the
Troubleshoot Connect Home settings section. You can also run nas_message -info
<error_id> and follow the recommended actions in the error message.
c. If the action times out before completion, a message including a task identifier
appears at the top of the page. You can use the task identifier to check the status of
the action on Monitoring > Background Tasks.
