1. Fasten top of the latch rail with a 1” painted
screw.
2. Re-check to make sure you have
maintained the 3/16” gap and drill 1/8” pilot
holes through the remaining mounting
holes.
3. Using the 1” painted screws from the
installation kit, fasten the latch rail to the
mounting surface.
1. Place the latch rail (F) in the opening with
the top end pushed up against the rain cap.
2. Maintain a consistent 3/16” gap between
latch rail (adjust latch rail as needed) and
side edge of door.
3. Drill a 1/8” pilot hole through top mounting
hole and into mounting surface.

If necessary, adjust the sweep.
1. From the interior, loosen the sweep screws
with a phillips screw driver. Adjust the
sweep (G) up or down until the sweep n
lightly comes into contact with the door sill.
2. Retighten the sweep screws.

For pet door closer installation only:
1. Open the door and measure 2” up from the
top of the window opening on the interior
side of the door. Mark a line on the door
extending it to the hinge side door jamb.
This is where you will install your closer,
instead of at the bottom of the door.
2. Refer to the instructions in the Installation
Kit (I) to install the closer, keeping in mind
that your closer will be located at the TOP of
the door and not at the bottom.
For all other doors:
1. Refer to the instructions in the installation
kit (I) to install the closer.
1. Refer to the instructions included in the
Installation Kit (I) to drill the handle holes
and to install the door handles.
