NOTE: The pedestal bases must be removed from the main unit and the
speakers before wall mounting. Please refer to pages 5 and 6 in this manual
for instructions on removing the pedestals.
If you decide to wall mount your ES1065 audio system please read
and carefully follow these instructions:
NOTE: Wall mounting hardware is not included. You should purchase the
appropriate type of anchors for the wall where the unit will be mounted. (Solid-wall,
Hollow-wall, etc.) Wall anchors are available at hardware stores and home
improvement centers. Tools required: Electric drill, Hammer, Screwdriver.
General Precautions and Recommendations
When choosing a location for wall mounting remember that the main unit must
be connected to an AC outlet. The AC power cord of the main unit should be
able to hang straight down from the main unit to the AC outlet. See Figure 1.
Connect the main unit to the AC outlet and position it against the wall in your
desired location. Make sure that the plug remains firmly and full inserted into the
outlet. There should be just enough slack in the power cord so that the plug can be
easily removed from, and reconnected to the AC outlet.
