The Avtron Model K675A Load Bank is designed for
permanent outdoor installation for 150 to 500 KW load.
The Avtron K675A load bank is designed and built to incorporate the latest state-of-the-art
load bank features. It requires no cool down period after load is dropped. The contactors
are housed in a thermostatically controlled heated enclosure for protection against condensa-
tion related problems. The K675A load bank is ideal for high power resistive loading of AC
generating systems.
The load bank contains resistive elements and a blower motor in a rigid structure of formed
heavy gauge aluminized steel. Designed for out door installation, the load bank utilizes a fixed
louver on the exhaust opening to protect the motor and resistive elements from the weather.
The K675A load bank is available with ratings of 150 to 500 KW. It is provided with single volt-
ages of 208 or 480 and dual voltages of 240/480, with a load step resolution of either 5 or 50 KW.
The Avtron Advanced Digital Monitoring System (ADMS™) is available as an option on the K675A.
It provides faceplate digital display of Volts, Amps, Frequency, and KW. The Communicator
EXT™ Data Logging Software allows Real Time Data Acquisition and trending of all meter
parameters from your Laptop PC or PDA. An Infrared/USB interface cable is included for
“Plug and Play” convenience.
