How to create an Ethernet TCP/IP network connection on a Windows

2000

1. Right click on My Network Places then click Properties.

2. Right click on Local Area Connection icon.

The following window will pop up.

3. If the device status indicates This device is working

properly. close this window and proceed to the next step.

Otherwise follow the instructions as indicated in the

Troubleshooter help to fix the problem.

4. Click on Configure icon to verify installation of the

Ethernet card.
