Ceiling Fan Assembly 3.1 #10-24 x 12mm ROUND HEAD BLADE SCREW (4) Mount the fan blade (sold separately) using the four #10-24 x 12mm round head screws and flat washers (supplied) to secure flange to blade (Figure 1). 9/16" FLAT WASHER (4 per blade/flange) Repeat for the remaining four blades. FAN BLADE (sold separately) NOTE: Some accessory blades are supplied with shorter screws.

Ceiling Fan Assembly (continued) Installation of Switch Cup Assembly for Manual Control PULL CHAIN SWITCH 3.4 Engage the connector of the switch cup assembly with the motor connector (Figure 4). The two connectors are keyed and color-coded and must be mated correctly (color-to-color) before they can be engaged. Make sure the connector latch closes properly.

Ceiling Fan Assembly (continued) 3.7 PIN Remove the hanger ball by loosening the setscrew in the hanger ball until the ball falls freely down the downrod (Figure 7). Remove the pin from the downrod, then remove the hanger ball. Retain the pin and hanger ball for reinstallation in Step 3.13. AT LEAST 7' Figure 13 ! FLOOR WARNING The outlet box and joist must be securely mounted and capable of supporting at least 50 lbs. Use only a U.L. outlet box listed as “Acceptable for Fan Support of 22.7 kg. (50 lbs.) or less”.

Carefully lift the fan and seat the hanger ball/ downrod assembly on the hanger bracket that was just attached to the outlet box (Figure 16). Be sure the groove in the ball is lined up with tab on the hanger bracket (Figure 15).

Final Assembly 6.1 Lift the ceiling cover up to the threaded studs and turn until studs protrude through the holes in the ceiling cover (Figure 18). 6.2 CEILING COVER Secure the ceiling cover in place by sliding lockwashers over the threaded studs and installing the two knurled knobs (supplied). (Figure 18).

It could damage the motor or the blades and create the possibility of an electrical shock. Periodic cleaning of your new ceiling fan is the only maintenance that is needed. When cleaning, use only a soft brush or lint free cloth to avoid scratching the finish.

Accent Light Harness Installation 10.1 COUPLER COVER NOTE: If you are planning to install an optional Emerson Accent Light Fixture on your ceiling fan, remove the coupler cover at this time for installation. Optional AL100 Accent Light Installation 11.1 AL100 ACCENT LIGHT HARNESS SCREW (3) CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing light kit assembly. AL100 ACCENT LIGHT HARNESS Position the AL100 accent light so that the opening of the AL100 accent light slides through the downrod. Align the mounting holes of the AL100 accent light to the motor assembly (Figure 22).
