Note: You can place a polyphaser between the antenna and the
radio’s SMA connector using two user-supplied RF cables.
3. Configure the FreeWave radio:

Technologies, Inc. Tuning Transceiver Performance section of
the FreeWave Technologies Inc. to configure the radio.
4. Activate the set-up program. Using a null modem cable (see
Figure 2-17) connect the radio (via ECOM1 port COM4 or
ECOM2 port COM8) to a terminal program such as
HyperTerminal. Put the radio in setup mode and set the
parameters as shown in Table 2-15. You activate the set-up
program by connecting pins 1 and 2 of JP2 on the ECOM
module with a suitcase jumper.

When connecting a ControlWave Micro to either an external modem or
