Q: My hard disk keeps filling up. This one is too small. Can I place another disk in the
EM6010?
A: It is possible to place a larger (IDE) disk. Make sure the disk is set to ‘Master’ or
‘Single’.
Q: When I playback recordings, the image seems to jolt. How do I solve this?
A: The quality of the recording depends on the IPS. If a recording is made with a low
IPS the playback will seem to jolt or stutter. Recordings of 25 IPS are the most
smooth.
Q: When I playback recordings made at night, the image is very bad. It seems to be
overexposed. How is this possible?
A: One or more cameras are to close to a window or another glass object. In the dark
the reflection of the infrared light may be visible. If so, move the camera further away
from the glass or window.
Q: If I enter the IP address of the EM6010 in the address bar of Windows Explorer I
can open the login screen, but I can not see a live view.
A: From within the windows Explorer it is not possible to get a live view. This only
works when you use Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or another Internet browser,
and enter the IP address in the address bar.
Q: I am using a Macintosh/Windows computer. I can not get a live view when using
Safari or Internet Explorer. What can I do?
A: Try to install a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox. Maybe there is a problem
with the settings of Internet Explorer. For Windows you can download Firefox from
www.mozilla.com. For a Macintosh you can download Firefox from
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html.
Q: Can I quickly change between the different camera views on my monitor?
A: Yes you can. By pressing the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons on the remote control you can
quickly change between cameras.
Q: Can I zoom in using this system?
A: Yes you can. The EM6010 supports digital zoom. Press the number of the camera
on the remote control. The specified camera image will appear full screen. Press the
red ‘Digital Zoom’ button on the remote control. A zoomed in image will now be
displayed.
