2.1 Functions and features
The EM6010 is a stand-alone security recorder with a built-in hard disk. It allows you
to digitally record the images of a maximum of four analogue cameras, such as the
EM6020 or EM6025. Thanks to the built-in MPEG4 compression you can
automatically store high quality video images for multiple days or even weeks.

2. Remote control
3. Power adapter (100-240 Volts AC, 19 Volts DC)
4. 12 Volts DC Splitter for 4 cameras
5. IR sensor for remote control

3.0 Setting up the EM6010
The EM6010 comes equipped with a hard disk which you do not need to built in
yourself. It is however important that you configure and connect a couple of items
before you can start using the EM6010, as explained below.
3.1 Connecting the EM6010 to the power grid
1. Take the EM6010 from the package.
2. Set down the EM6010 in the preferred location.
3. Plug the supplied 19-Volts DC adapter in the wall socket
4. Connect the small plug of the adapter to the single input of the square power
splitter.
5. Connect the short cable of the power splitter to the EM6010 (The four outputs of
the power splitter are meant to supply the camera(s) with power).
