6. Place the new motion sensor close to the e-Centre (30 cm as maximum
distance).
When assigning the new motion sensor, a shorter distance is required compared to
being in service.
7. Press the button of your new motion sensor (This button is located at the bottom
of the EM6580).
8. A message will appear: ‘Product found’.
If the device is not found, press the ‘Reset’ button in the e-Centre’s webpage and then
click the button on your motion sensor. After this procedure you can add the new
device correctly.
9. Give the new found device, the motion sensor you have just connected a name
and give a location, and click ‘Save’.
10. The switch has now been added to the e-Centre. The e-Centre will now be able
to control the EM6580.
2.4 Mounting to a wall
Due to the viewing angle, the ideal mounting height for the motion sensor is 2 meters.
Attention! Place the EM6580 at a location where a trespasser walks by, instead of
walking straight towards the EM6580 (Figure 2).

1. Place the motion sensor on a cupboard or table, or mount the bottom of the
motion sensor to the wall or ceiling. For this, use the two mounting holes on the
bottom of the motion sensor.
2. Mount the top of the motion sensor to the bottom and tighten the two screws.
