Connect the radar support clamps to the
support bar and mount the bar onto the
bracket.
9.4 Assembly installation
Please refer to the support bar documentation (provided separately) for more information on
installation of the support bar in the manhole and attachment to the support brackets.
10 Configuration
10.1 Parameter Adjustment
There are a number of parameters that are used to configure the radar for different site
conditions. These are changed by editing parameters. At the time of writing, the parameters
that the installer will need to update are:
• (1.0 to 30.0) Total manhole height (in meters).
• (0.0 to 20.0) This is the distance (in meters) from the manhole rim to the lid
of the enclosure when installed.
11 Field Service
Important note: The BLU-X Radar has been designed as a single device. While there are
multiple components within the radar, the components are associated with the serial number
of the unit and they are not intended to be field serviceable. If a BLU-X Radar device is not
performing as expected, please request authorization to return the device for replacement.
