Jacuzzi Tub Fix – None of the Massage Jets Are Turning On

Cause: The seal on either end of the pressure pipe is loose so that no pressure is being delivered after

pressing the ON/OFF button.

Fix: Reattach the pressure pipe to the correct inlet. To diagnose which end, the following steps are

needed:

Scenario 1: Connection Between motor and pipe is loose

Unplug the bathtub, and turn it over entirely as shown in Figure-1. You will see a connection between

the motor and a tiny transparent pipe highlighted in Figure-2. Make sure the pipe is securely inserted to

the motor as shown in picture.

Scenario 2: Connection Between ON/OFF button and pipe is loose If it’s not the motor’s connection loosing, then it’s the connection between ON/OFF button and the pressure pipe. To see the connection, you will need to remove the outer shell for the bathtub exposing the space between the inner tub and outer tub. The outer skirt is what’s securing the shell to the tub, and is highlighted in Figure-3 and Figure-4. Go to following page once you’ve done this step.

After removing these 4 skirts securing the outer shell, the entire outer shell would be loose and you can lift it up. Now you would be able to see the connection between pressure pipe and ON/OFF button as shown in Figure-5. Make sure that’s securely connected to the switch. Figure-5 If both of the connection is securely connected and the jet is still not working, then the motor would most likely be replaced which happens rarely.
