amewillbeblueandwillextendbeyondthethermocouple.The
ame will surround the thermocouple just below the tip.A slight
yellow ame may occur where the pilot ame and main burner
amemeet.Figures31and32showanincorrectpilotamepattern.
Theincorrectpilotameisnottouchingthethermocouple.Thiswill
cause the thermocouple to cool. When the thermocouple cools, the
heater will shut down.

