4-1.2 Writing Text Messages
D To insert blank spaces (the space between characters), press 1x.
D Insert punctuation marks (. , ! ?) by pressing repeatedly.
D Additional characters: enter the selection area for additional characters by
pressing
.By repeatedly pressing and/or. , move from left to right. Us-
ing button
, you can jump to the top of the table, with to the left, with
to the right and with to the bottom. If you have reached the desired
additional character, press
to insert that character into your text.
D You can switch between upper case (ABC) and lower case letters with up-
per case letters at the beginning of the sentence (Abc), or you can write
only in lower case letters (abc) and completely in numerals (123). The re-
spective mode is evident in the second display line next to the ¢ symbol.
D A pure number entry can also be made with the following commands dur-
ing the text entry:
