You will begin to be charged for a phone call you initiated once someone
(or your voicemail) has answered on the other end. When you use the
SMS function, you will only be charged for sending the SMS, not writing or
receiving it.
Any other functions (alarm, calculator) are free of charge.
If you are outside the coverage of your own network provider, your mobile
phone will automatically find another network. Many phone cards will need
to be enabled by your network provider for usage abroad. Please contact your
provider.
– Without signal you cannot make a call (no service).
– If ‘Limited Service’ is displayed, you either have no connection to your
network provider, or no credit balance. In this case you can place an
Emergency 999 call, but no other calls.
Don’t recharge your batteries after every call. Even with “intelligent” electronic
chargers this will result in reduced battery capacity.
To keep your batteries “fit”, let them deplete completely at least once a month.
If you are not using the mobile phone for more than one month, remove the
battery pack.
