3. System Fails Post-Installation Checks
A. To make sure that the system is correctly installed, do as follows:
(1) Make sure that the APM has been correctly configured and loaded. Refer to ARINC 615A
Software Data Load Process and this section to access the GUI to check that the correct
APM version is installed.
(2) Make sure that all the LRUs and connections have been correctly installed.
(a) Do continuity checks on wiring, validate communication cabling for Tx, Rx signal
integrity via cable analyzers, test RF cables with specialized RF cable testers, and
do power on and ground checks with LRUs disconnected for the check.
