Note: The system installation should be performed continuously. If a
pause of more than the number of minutes determined for the
Installer Dialog timeout (INST. DLG. T/O) in Section 3.2.2 below
(default: 20 minutes) occurs, the installation will be terminated and
the opening screen will again be displayed, without saving the
installation data.
Note
: At any point in any Installer function, pressing OK at top of
Control Panel will move one level downward in the menu structure;
pressing ESC at top of Control Panel will move one level upward in
the menu structure.
3.2.1 Zone Options
From the Installer menu, when you have entered your Installer ID,
screen will show:

1: ZONE OPTIONS
There are many sub-functions within the Zone Options function.
Before the first sub-function, it is necessary to define the zone for
which the sub-function options are being programmed. In other
words, when the system is first set up, the entire Zone Options
function must be repeated for each zone.
To define the zone
, press OK at top of Control Panel. Screen will
show:
ZONE PROGRAMMING
1. Zn. Def.
To define the zone (Enter Zone #), press OK at top of Control Panel.
Screen will show:
ENTER ZONE # 1
FRONT DOOR
To confirm Zone 1 as the zone now being programmed, press OK at
top of Control Panel. To change the default, key in the desired
number on numeric keypad and press OK at top of Control Panel to
proceed to next sub-function: Zone Enable
