Verify that the host bus adapter is securely installed in the computer.1.
Verify that correct media is attached.2.
Observe LEDs for Power On Self Test (POST) results.3.
View LEDs
An LED is located on the upper rear corner of the board. This LED
indicates 3.3v power.
Green and yellow light emitting diodes (LEDs) can be seen through
openings in the host bus adapter's mounting bracket. These LEDs
indicate the status of the ports according to the following chart.
POST conditions and results are summarized in this table.

OFF OFF Wake−up Failure (Dead Board). Check the
3.3v led on the HBA (component side) if this
LED is lit, the slot is providing 3.3v power.
OFF ON POST Failure (Dead Board)
OFF Slow Blink (1 Hz) Wake−up Failure (Dead Board)
OFF Fast Blink (4 Hz) Failure in POST (Dead Board)
OFF Flashing (Irregular) POST Processing in Progress
ON OFF Failure while Functioning
