Assembly Instructions

Step 1
Run the cable from the pump and pass through the white pvc
pipe opening (ex. 1). Now pull the pump cable through the white
pvc pipe opening from the base bottom. Next, run the pump
cable through the cable notch on base bottom (ex. 2). Make
sure that the pump is sitting on the bottom of the pot and is
not elevated. Put the black plastic cap onto the white pvc pipe
making sure to place the chord into the notch on the cap (ex. 3).
Step 3
Place the middle, medium sized pot section onto the base/
largest pot (ex. 4). Next, pull out the pump and place to the
side (ex. 5/6).
Step 5
Very Important! To adjust/control the water
ow on your Carlotta fountain, turn the
red water ow control knob to increase or
decrease water ow. The correct ow is
when there is no splash or water loss from
excessive splashing. It is best to have the
water bubble up just enough, and set to
your liking.
Step 4
Connect the hose coming from inside the top smallest pot to
the clear hard plastic water valve (it has the red water ow
controller on it, ex. 7). Next, place the water pump back inside
the basin. Again, making sure that it is resting at the bottom
of the largest base pot (ex. 8). Lastly, now put the top smallest
pot on top of the medium middle pot section (ex. 9). Check to
make sure that all three sections are stacked correctly before
lling with water and plugging in.
Step 6
Use the black plastic shims (that are included) if needed
to adjust the level of the fountain. For best results, the
fountain should be completely level. Shims can be placed
under the base or jar as needed.
