ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1) L ayrackbod y(oval)on firm su rface.P rotectsu rface withcorru gated box if necessary.

2) Id entifythe fou r" UprightA rms." Usingthe 5/16" x 1/2" bu ttonhead screws attachthe u prights to the ovalas shown.D onotfu lly

tighten screws atthistime.

3) L ocate the " TopB ar" and attachto the fou r" UprightA rms" as shownind rawingu singthe two 5/16" x 7 /8 " bu tton head screws

and the two 5/16" hex nu ts.Tighten allscrews atthis time

4) Y ou rRackmaybe carefu llyanchored into solid wood of the ceilingjoistorbeams.C arefu llymeasu re the areawhere the rackis

to be hu ngand installthe ceilingscrew hooks (approximately16" apart).If you are mou ntinginplasterboard ,u se the Toggles and

follow the instru ction provid ed inthe kit.

5) P lace the six grid brackets overthe sid es ofthe rack,twooneachend ofthe ovaland fou rju stinsid e eachofthe u prightarms

withthe straightend of the brackets facingtoward sthe insid e ofthe rack.N extplace the grid ontopof the grid brackets.(See

note and d rawingnextpage).

6) Insertthe " S" hooks into eachofthe remainingholes in the topbarand the otherend throu ghone end of the chain.C arefu llylift

you rrackinto place and attachthe otherend of the chain onto the ceilinghooks.

7 ) H angyou rheavieritems on the straightportionofthe rackbod yorthe centerof the grid area.

8 ) A llofou rhammered steelracks are finished withanind u strialwax d esigned to give yearsofprotectionto the rack.C leaningis

easilyd one withad ampcloth.D rythorou ghlyaftercleaning.Ifatou ch-u pis everneed ed we recommend a"P led ge" like wax

Note: Grid as shown in drawings is upside down for illustration purposes. Please turn grid over so crossbars that extend the width of the grid are facing down. This will help to keep grid from sliding out of position when rack is in use. 5/16" 5/16" x 7/8" 5/16" x 1/2" WARNING It is important that your rack is assembled correctly. If the unit is assembled or used incorrectly, it could become unstable and collapse, possibly causing injury.
