Caring for Your
Hammered Steel Product
With proper care and attention your new Hammered Steel cookware rack will continue to
look great for years to come. There are a few, simple care points we ask you to read and follow:
● The Hammered Steel of your rack is coated with an industrial acrylic finish which
provides protection in normal kitchen or household use.
● However, this finish is not effective in outdoor use or in areas where heavy or continuous
steam or moisture is present. These placements can cause the rack to rust and must be
avoided.
● Your rack is easy to keep clean if maintained periodically so dust and debris does not
accumulate thickly.
● The acrylic finish cleans easily with a damp cloth. But please be sure to dry all surfaces
thoroughly after cleaning to prevent any possibility of rust.
● Do not use steel wool or other abrasive pads or cleaners on your Hammered Steel rack.
These products will injure its acrylic finish and hamper maintenance of its appearance.
● Should your rack be scratched or if a bit of its acrylic finish is removed, you may touch
up the injury with “Pledge®” or a similar commercial wax-like product.
