The use and installation of this product must conform to local codes. In absence of local codes, use the
latest edition of the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, or International Fuel Gas Code. This
appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, or in the absence
of local codes with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, if applicable.
For installation in Canada - these instructions, while generally acceptable, do not necessarily comply
with the Canadian installation codes, particularly with piping above and below ground. In Canada the
installation of this appliance must comply with local codes and/or standard CAN/CGA B149.1 (installation
code for propane burning appliances and equipment).

• Do NOT try lighting any appliance.
Do NOT touch any electrical switch; do

Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbor’s phone.
• Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call
the fire department.
W Installation and service must be performed
by a qualified installer, service agency or
gas supplier.
W Save these instructions for future
reference.
W If you are assembling this unit for someone

If you smell gas:
1. Shut off gas to appliance.
2. Extinguish any open flame.
3. If odor continues, keep away from the
appliance and immediately call your gas
supplier or your fire department.

this or any other appliance.
2. An LP-cylinder not connected for use shall
not be stored in the vicinity of this or any
other appliance.
