1. Sicherheitshinweise • Bevor Sie das System anschließen und in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie zuerst diese Sicherheitshinweise und die Betriebsanleitung. • Bewahren Sie die Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig zur späteren Verwendung auf. • Die Kameras gegen Eindringen von Wasser und Feuchtigkeit schützen, Wasser kann die Geräte dauerhaft schädigen. Sollte dennoch Feuchtigkeit eingedrungen sein, die Kameras nie unter diesen Bedingungen einschalten, sondern zur Überprüfung an eine autorisierte Fachwerkstatt geben.
2. Allgemeine Beschreibung Die VKC-13100FxxxIR ist eine Kamera mit 700TV-Linien Auflösung für ultrascharfe und kristallklare Farbwiedergabe mit Sony Effio E 960H Enhanced CCD.

5. Installationsanweisungen • Stellen Sie vor der Installation sicher, dass die Spannungszufuhr unterbrochen ist. • Schließen Sie die Spannungsversorgung in der korrekten Reihenfolge an. Schließen Sie zuerst die Niederspannungsleitung (12VDC bzw. 24VAC) an und stecken Sie erst danach das Netzteil in die Steckdose, um fehlerhafte Resets aufgrund von Spannungsschwankungen und Beschädigungen durch Überspannung (aufgrund der Lastfreiheit) zu vermeiden. 5.1. Befestigung der Kamera an der Wand 5.1.
5.2 Spannungsversorgungsanschlüsse Die Kamera kann entweder mit 12VDC oder 24VAC betrieben werden (doppelte Spannungsversorgung). Es ist unbedingt erforderlich, die 12VDC-Spannungsversorgung korrekt gepolt anzuschließen, andernfalls arbeiten die IR-LEDs nachts nicht. Primäre und sekundäre Masse sind vollständig voneinander isoliert, um mögliche Probleme durch Erdungsschleifen zu vermeiden. Klemmverbinder der Spannungsversorgung: 24VAC / 12VDC (rote Leitung) 24VAC / 12VDC (schwarze Leitung) 5.
2. Begrenzung des Neigungswinkels Die Neigung ist bei Wand (bzw. Decken)-Installation auf 0°(2°) min. bis 90° max. begrenzt, wobei vorausgesetzt wird, dass die Neigung des Kameramoduls in Bezug auf die Decke 0° ist, d. h., dass das Bild horizontal ausgerichtet ist. 6. SETUP Menu (Einstellmenü) 6.1 Im Menü Das Einstellmenü kann mit dem OSD-Joystick an der Seite der Kamera aufgerufen und bedient werden. Mit dem Joystick sind fünf Bedienbefehle verfügbar. 6.2.1 MAIN Menu 1 (Hauptmenü 1) MAIN Menu-1 (Hauptmenü 1) Werkeinstellung Beschreibung SHUTTER / AGC AUTO Einstellung der mit dem Shutter-Modus und AGC für AUTO- und MANUAL-Einstellungen zusammenhängende Parameter. Für Einzelheiten siehe 6.3 SHUTTER/AGC-Menü LENS (Objektiv) AUTO Auswahl des Objektivtyps, AUTO oder MANUAL. AUTO unterstützt nur DC-Objektive mit automatischer DC-Blendensteuerung. Für Einzelheiten siehe 6.
6.2.2 MAIN Menu 2 (Hauptmenü 2) MAIN Menu-2 (Hauptmenü 2) Werkeinstellung Beschreibung NR (Rauschunterdrückung) – MOTION DET (Bewegungserkennung) OFF Für Hinweise zur Einstellung der Parameter siehe 6.11 MOTION DET-Menü. PRIVACY (Geschützte Bereiche) OFF Einstellung auf ON/OFF, um die Bereichsmasken zu aktivieren/deaktivieren. Für Hinweise zur Einstellung der Parameter siehe 6.12 PRIVACY-Menü (Bereichsmasken).
6.3 SHUTTER/AGC-Menü Mit diesem Menü können SHUTTER, AUTO IRIS (Automatische Blendensteuerung) und AGC (Automatische Verstärkungsregelung) eingestellt werden, um je nach Szene das bestmögliche Bild bei hoher und niedriger Helligkeit zu erhalten. Wenn beispielsweise das Auswaschen reduziert und der Dynamikbereich für helle Szenen erweitert werden soll, wird eine Verbesserung für Tageslichtbedingungen im Außenbereich durch SHUTTER + AUTO IRIS erreicht.
6.3.1 SHUTTER/AGC > AUTO SETUP Menu (Automatische Einstellung) AUTO SETUP (Automat. Einstellung) Werkeinstellung Beschreibung Zur Auswahl des Shutter-Modus aus den Möglichkeiten AUTO IRIS oder SHUT+AUTO IRIS, falls MAIN > LENS > AUTO eingestellt ist, aber er ist fest eingestellt auf SHUT, falls MAIN > LENS > MANUAL gewählt ist. AUTO IRIS: Der Helligkeitspegel wird nur durch die automatische Blendenregelung eingestellt.
6.3.2 SHUTTER/AGC > MANUAL SETUP Menu (Manuelle Einstellung) MANUAL SETUP (Manuelle Einstellung) Werkeinstellung Beschreibung MODE (Modus) SHUT + AGC Kompensation des Videopegels durch die manuelle Shutter-Einstellung und AGC. SHUTTER 1/60 (1/50) Manuelle Shutter-Einstellung auf 1/60 (1/50), 1/100 (1/120), 1/250,1/500,1/1000, 1/2000,1/4000 oder 1/10000. Die manuelle Shutter-Einstellung ist nur nützlich bei einer Szene, bei der die Helligkeit sich nicht ändert. AGC 6.
AUTO IRIS (Automatische Blende) SPEED (Geschwindigkeit) Werkeinstellung 080 Beschreibung Einstellung der Blenden-Ansteuergeschwindigkeit. Je geringer der Wert, desto höher die Geschwindigkeit. Wenn die Geschwindigkeit zu langsam oder zu schnell ist, kann die Blendenregelung instabil werden. 6.5 DAY/NIGHT Menu (Tag/Nacht) Zum Aufrufen des Menüs DAY/NIGHT drücken Sie die Taste unter MAIN menu-1 > DAY/NIGHT...
DAY/NIGHT (Tag/Nacht) Werkeinstellung Beschreibung Mit BURST wird festgelegt, ob das Color-Burst-Signal weiterhin ausgegeben oder unterdrückt wird, wenn die Kamera auf S/W umschaltet. BURST OFF Bei Einstellung ON enthält auch ein S/W-Videosignal das Color-Burst-Signal und ist damit kompatibel mit der Farbvideoausrüstung, hat dann aber dieselbe Auflösung wie Farbvideos.
6.6 PICT ADJUST Menu (Bildeinstellung) Zum Aufrufen des Menüs PICT ADJUST drücken Sie die Taste unter MAIN menu-1 > PICT ADJUST. PICT ADJUST (Bildeinstellung) Werkeinstellung MIRROR (Spiegeln) OFF Beschreibung In der Einstellung ON wird das Bild horizontal gespiegelt. Erhöht oder verringert die Bildhelligkeit Dies unterscheidet sich von der Helligkeitsregelung bei einem Objektiv mit DCBlendensteuerung, da einfach die digitale Verstärkung des Videosignals erhöht oder verringert wird.
USER1 und USER2 sind feststehende Weißabgleich-Einstellungen, bei denen R-GAIN (Rotverstärkung) und B-GAIN (Blauverstärkung) vom Benutzer programmiert werden können, was nur bei unveränderlicher Beleuchtung nützlich ist. ANTI CR (Anti Color Rolling) kann Farbwechsel aufgrund von Leuchtstoffröhren-Beleuchtung verringern, wenn bei der Kamera die Shutter-Regelung verwendet wird, aber kein Objektiv mit Blendensteuerung angeschlossen ist.
MANUAL WB (Manueller Weißabgleich) WerkBeschreibung einstellung LEVEL (Pegel) 064 Manuelle Einstellung des Weißabgleich-Pegels mittels LEVEL, womit die Blauverstärkung (B-GAIN) festgelegt wird. 6.8 D-WDR-Menü (Digitale Dynamische Verstärkungsregelung) Die D-WDR-Funktion verbessert den Dynamikbereich und die Erkennbarkeit des Bildes durch Errechnung der optimalen Gradationskompensation des Bildes in einem Feld.
6.9 BACKLIGHT Menu (Gegenlicht) Zum Aufrufen des Menüs BACKLIGHT drücken Sie die Taste unter MAIN menu-1 > BACKLIGHT. Die Funktion Gegenlichtkompensation (BLC, Backlight Compensation) wird verwendet, um ein Bild im Vordergrund aufzuhellen, wenn ein hell beleuchteter Bereich, wie etwa Sonnenlicht im Hintergrund, vorliegt, um den Effekt der Silhouettenbildung zu begrenzen.
6.10 NR Menu (Rauschunterdrückung) Zum Aufrufen des Menüs NR drücken Sie die Taste unter MAIN menu-2 > NR. NR (Rauschunterdrückung) Werkeinstellung NR MODE (NR Modus) Y/C Beschreibung Zur Einstellung auf OFF, Y, C oder Y/C, mit denen die Rauschunterdrückung durchgeführt wird. Einstellung der Rauschunterdrückungsstärke für das Helligkeitssignal. Y LEVEL (Y-Pegel) 006 Höhere Werte führen zu einer stärkeren Rauschunterdrückung und machen das Bild weniger scharf.
6.11 MOTION DET Menu (Bewegungserkennung) Es sind bis zu 4 Bewegungsdetektorbereiche verfügbar, und für jeden Bereich können Größe und Position programmiert werden. Die Bewegung wird mittels Blöcken angezeigt, wenn MAIN Menu-2 > MOTION DET und MOTION DET > BLOCK DISP auf ON gestellt sind. Zum Aufrufen des Menüs MOTION DET drücken Sie die Taste unter MAIN menu-2 > MOTION DET > ON.
6.12 PRIVACY Menu (Geschützte Bereiche) Es sind bis zu 8 Bereichsmasken verfügbar, und für jeden Bereich können Größe und Position programmiert werden. Die Zahl der Bereichsmasken ist auf vier begrenzt, wenn MOTION DET > MONITOR AREA auf ON gestellt ist. Die Bereichsmasken werden mit der unter PRIVACY > COLOR ausgewählten Farbe maskiert. Zum Aufrufen des Menüs PRIVACY drücken Sie die Taste unter MAIN menu-2 > PRIVACY > ON.
6.14 CAMERA ID menu (Kamera-Nr.) Es können für die Kamera-ID bis zu 40 Zeichen verwendet werden. Zum Aufrufen des Menüs CAMERA ID drücken Sie die Taste unter MAIN menu-2 > CAMERA ID. Eingabezeile für CAMERA ID Befehlszeile Verwenden Sie die Tasten , , , , um einen Block-Cursor in der Zeichentabelle zu bewegen, und drücken Sie die Taste , um das ausgewählte Zeichen zu übernehmen.

5. Installation Instructions • Make sure the power is removed before the installation. • Follow the order for applying power. First, connect the low voltage (AC24V or DC12V), then plug the AC adapter to AC outlets to avoid an improper reset from power jitter and a damage from the surge voltage when no load. 5.1. Mounting the Camera on Wall 5.1.1 Without using an Easy Bracket 1) Drill the holes on wall or ceiling using a supplied template. 2) Insert the anchors (2) to the drilled holes.
5.2 Power Supply Connections Camera can work with either 12VDC or 24VAC, dual voltage power. It is strongly required the polarity-matched connection for 12VDC supply, otherwise IR LEDs will not operate at night. Primary and secondary grounds are completely isolated to avoid the possible ground-loop problems. Clamp connectors of power input: 24VAC / 12VDC (red wire) 24VAC / GND (black wire) 5.3 Limit of Pan and Tilt 1. Pan limit Pan is limited to +/- 90°.

Tilt limit Tilt is limited to 0°(2°) min ~ 90° max. for wall(ceiling) installation respectively with reference to the ceiling when the inclination of camera module is 0°, that is, the image is aligned horizontally. 6. SETUP Menu 6.1 In the Menu Setup menu can be accessed and controlled by OSD control joy stick on the side of camera. Five commands are available with the joy stick. In the menu, use , to move menu, , to change the settings and press to select or enter.
6.2.1 MAIN menu-1 MAIN Menu-1 Default Descriptions SHUTTER / AGC AUTO Sets the parameters related to the shutter mode and AGC for AUTO and MANUAL settings. See the details 6.3 SHUTTER/AGC menu. LENS AUTO Selects the lens type, AUTO or MANUAL. AUTO supports DC auto-iris lens only. See 6.4 LENS menu for details. Can set DAY/NIGHT to AUTO, COLOR, BW, EXT1 and EXT2. AUTO – Camera switches DAY from/to NIGHT automatically along with the amount of light through the lens.
6.2.2 MAIN menu-2 MAIN Menu 2 Default Descriptions NR – Sets the noise reduction parameters for NR MODE and Y LEVEL, C LEVEL. See 6.10 NR menu for details. MOTION DET OFF Sets ON/OFF for enabling/disabling MOTION DET. See 6.11 MOTION DET menu for the parameter settings. PRIVACY OFF Sets ON/OFF for enabling/disabling PRIVACY. See 6.12 PRIVACY menu for the parameter settings. LANGUAGE ENGLISH Selects the language out of 7 languages. Sets ON/OFF for enabling/disabling of ID display.
6.3.1 SHUTTER/AGC > AUTO SETUP Menu AUTO SETUP Default Descriptions Selects the shutter mode from AUTO IRIS or SHUT+AUTO IRIS when MAIN > LENS > AUTO but it is fixed to SHUT if MAIN > LENS > MANUAL. AUTO IRIS: Light level is controlled by an auto iris lens only. For proper auto iris operation, the auto iris operation mode in MAIN > LENS > AUTO > MODE must be set to AUTO. HIGH LUMINANCE The shutter speed is fixed to the setting at MAIN > SHUTTER/AGC > MANUAL > SHUTTER in this mode.
6.3.2 SHUTTER/AGC > MANUAL SETUP Menu MANUAL SETUP Default Descriptions MODE SHUT + AGC Compensates the video level by the manual shutter control and AGC. SHUTTER 1/60 (1/50) Sets the manual shutter to 1/60 (1/50), 1/100 (1/120), 1/250,1/500,1/1000, 1/2000,1/4000 or 1/10000. Manual shutter is only useful for the scene which luminance is unchanged. AGC 6.00 Sets AGC gain in dB. Higher gain compensates brighter but noise increases. Manual AGC can be set to 6, 12,18,24,30,36,42 or 44.8dB. 6.
6.5 DAY/NIGHT Menu To enter DAY/NIGHT menu, press button at MAIN menu-1 > DAY/NIGHT. IMPORTANT ACTIVITY !!! DAY –> NIGHT and NIGHT –> DAY operations must be examined and verified at the final installation. Block the lens for a few seconds for NIGHT mode and release and let it return to DAY mode. If camera stays at NIGHT mode more than 10sec, decrease NIGHT –> DAY THRES a little and repeat the fore-mentioned steps.
6.6 PICT ADJUST Menu To enter PICT ADJUST menu, press button at MAIN menu-1 > PICT ADJUST. PICT ADJUST Default Descriptions MIRROR OFF Picture will be flipped horizontally if it turns ON. BRIGHTNESS 000 Increases or decreases the brightness of the picture. This is different from that of DC iris lens and simply increases or decreases the digital gain of video. Do not increase this too much, the dynamic range for the highlight area will decrease.
6.7 WHITE BAL Menu White balance can be set to ATW, PUSH, USER1, USER2, ANTI CR, MANUAL or PUSH LOCK. ATW (Auto Tracking White balance) and PUSH (Full pull-in) is continuously monitoring/analyzing the colour temperature of the incoming light and correcting the white balance. ATW limits the colour temperature range at about 2,500K~8,500K to reduce the excessive compensation for the big object which has a single colour.
MANUAL WB Default Descriptions LEVEL 064 Adjusts the manual white balance by LEVEL, where is B-GAIN. 6.8 D-WDR (Digital Wide Dynamic Range) Menu D-WDR feature improves the dynamic range and the visibility of the image by providing the optimal gradation compensation of the image in one field. This is achieved by two ways of image processing, luminance compression and contrast enhancement, so that the tone can be enhanced at highlight and dark area.
6.9 BACKLIGHT Menu To enter BACKLIGHT menu, press button at MAIN menu-1 > BACKLIGHT. The Backlight Compensation – BLC – function is used to brighten an image in the foreground with a highly lit area behind it such as sunlight, limiting the affect of silhouetting.
6.10 NR Menu To enter NR menu, press button at MAIN menu-2 > NR. NR Default Descriptions NR MODE Y/C Selects OFF, Y, C or Y/C which noise reduction is performed with. Indicates the noise reduction strength for the luminance signal. Y LEVEL 006 Higher value performs the stronger noise reduction and makes the image less sharper. Due to the limitation of 2D NR, noise reduction may not be effective enough. Indicates the noise reduction strength for the chrominance signal.
6.11 MOTION DET Menu Up to 4 motion detection areas are available and each area is programmable in size and location. The motion is displayed by means of blocks when MAIN menu-2 > MOTION DET and MOTION DET > BLOCK DISP are ON. To enter MOTION DET menu, press button at MAIN menu-2 > MOTION DET > ON. MOTION DET Default Descriptions DETECT SENSE 080 Adjusts the sensitivity for detecting motion. Higher value is more sensitive.
6.12 PRIVACY Menu Up to 8 privacy areas are available and each area is programmable in size and location. The number of privacy areas is limited to four when MOTION DET > MONITOR AREA is ON. The privacy areas are masked with the colour selected by PRIVACY > COLOR. To enter PRIVACY menu, press button at MAIN menu-2 > PRIVACY > ON. PRIVACY Default Descriptions Selects one of AREA1~AREA8 to be adjusted.
6.14 CAMERA ID Menu Up to 40 characters can be input for camera ID. To enter CAMERA ID menu, press button at MAIN menu-2 > CAMERA ID. CAMERA ID input line COMMAND LINE Use , , , buttons to move a block cursor in character table and press button to input the selected character. To move the character input position on CAMERA ID input line, move a cursor to <– –> on COMMAND LINE and press button on <– or –> .
